What I expect
Scary Night expects professionalism from all involved with our company including any potential applicants for roles. That means there will be no discrimination based on race, creed, religion, sexual preference, disability, political views or nationality. Most scenes will be filmed in or around Rochester, NY and will require one weekend at the most.
What is required
All persons who are accepted for roles must be available on the dates of production and for a possible audition. They must be able to physically perform the role and memorize the lines. No previous acting experience is required. Larger roles will be paid based on the role and actor's experience. Small roles will likely receive a small stipend to cover expenses. We suggest that you review the character profiles so you have a feel for what we are looking for.
How to submit
If you wish to be considered for a future project, please email or mail the completed and signed audition form. Please submit at least one recent photograph - one that actually looks like you now . Once the selection process is over, all submission materials will be destroyed. Please do not ask for us to return them to you. Submission does NOT guarantee that you will be accepted to participate in the movie.

The way I am planning to film a movie, most parts will take no longer than one day on a weekend or 1-2 evenings.
Some of the smaller parts might even take a couple of hours
Many scenes will be shot in or around Rochester, New York so you must be willing to travel for filming

Not to date myself, but I have been a fan of the horror/suspense genre since the 1970's
I want to work with actors who are willing to give 110% so we can make a movie which we are all proud of.
This includes being prompt with communications. In general, I expect a return email or text within 24 hours. If you cannot do this, please don't submit for a role
